Men from an internally displaced camp within the city start their day's work collecting plastic to sell for burning and heating homes

Men from an internally displaced camp within the city start their day's work collecting plastic to sell for burning and heating homes, Kabul, Afghanistan, February 3, 2020. Many cannot afford electricity and so burn coal, garbage, plastic and rubber in their homes to keep warm during the cold winter months. Old vehicles and generators that run on poor quality fuel release vast amounts of toxins into the city's air, exasperating the pollution problem in Kabul and through other cities in Afghanistan.
